This award recognises the importance of marketing investment over a minimum 3-year period, enabling a company or brand to respond to evolving market conditions and/or customer needs, in order to deliver sustained business value. Your submission should demonstrate:

  • Clear objective setting over the set time period
  • Implementation and evolution of the 7 Ps in response to
    evolving customer/market conditions
  • Clearly defined set of performance measurement criteria

Student Marketer of the Year

Student Marketer of the Year will be awarded to the student achieving the highest overall grades in the CIM Postgraduate Diploma, the institute’s most senior qualification.


Marketing Team of the Year

Do you work in a marketing team? Whether that be a team of two or twenty this new category could be relevant to you. It will assess your overall marketing planning across multiple campaigns but focus on the successes of team as a whole.

Your submission should demonstrate the following:

  • Clear SMART objectives for your team for the past year
  • Evidence of resource planning and role allocation across more than two campaigns
  • Team process planning which can include Gantt chart or similar
  • Objective to delivery evaluation with an indication of relevant corrective action using one campaign example
  • Evidence of staff training linked to team requirements
