Business Development & Marketing Manager – Ogier Private Wealth

Key Responsibilities

  • Create the global service line BD&M plan and budget for OPW
  • Co-ordinate, oversee and ensure the implementation of OPW BD&M plan across all relevant OFS jurisdictions including using regular and effective global Go To Market Team (GTMT) meetings.
  • Support the OPW service line teams in achievement of their new business targets including identifying and implementing new BD initiatives
  • Prospect for new business opportunities including develop targeting strategies and target lists for OPW service lines – opening doors with new prospects as required – particularly for markets ex UK (e.g. Russia and Switzerland)
  • Assist OPW service line teams prepare pitches and proposals – tracking and review pitches won and lost (and reasons why)
  • Organise OPW service line conferences – represent OPW at relevant industry associations and events as required
  • Identify and propose OPW service line clients / intermediaries for the Acuigen client satisfaction programme and follow through with service line heads to ensure timely follow up on client service interviews
  • Develop award submissions as required for OPW service line and build strong personal relationship with key contacts at CityWealth, STEP etc
  • Identify and develop PR opportunities to help support profile of OPW service lines
  • Identify and implement cross selling opportunities for OPW global service line teams

Competencies

  • Private Wealth product and industry experience considered helpful to perform the role
  • Developing and implementing highly effective business development and marketing initiatives in the professional services industry
  • Ability to form and maintain highly effective working relationships with all levels of seniority from Executive to Administrator.
  • Strong Client MI analytical skills
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) – both one to one and group / presentation skills
  • Confident in meeting and networking with clients / intermediaries
  • Experience in managing people preferred
